Hannah is....

20 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!! We went this morning for what I'm hoping is her FINAL WEIGHT CHECK!! I cant believe I'm even saying that seeing we've been having weight checks with this sweet angel weekly/bi-weekly/monthly her whole life!! We have stopped seeing her Ped. GI whose last recommendation was to hospitalize her and put a feeding tube in b/c she had done all she could do for Hannah and after having guidance from the Lord not to do that with her, our general pead. took over weight checks with her. So, this am was her longest awaited weight check: 2 months! And we just knew that she had grown and gained some weight! Her last apt. she was still 18 pounds 8oz so this is huge for her! Hannah has just blossomed and looks great! She's not being as picky with foods and eating more at meals. She actually asks for a "naack" all the time now! She still only drinks about 10-15 ounces/day of her Neocate formula, but it's enough for her. I was elated at the 20 pounds, 3 oz. that appeared on the scale, but the doctor didnt seem as excited. But, I'm past the point of totally caring what they say! She's just small and perfect the way God made her! She still isnt on the growth chart for weight, but is 50% for height-33 inches! She said she's maintaining her own little growth curve so it was good news that she is still growing, little by little! We have canceled her 2nd opinion to see another Ped. GI out of Duke Children's Services so that was another blessing! Thank you Lord for daily protecting her little body and allowing her to grow and be healthy!
