An entire week....
actually went by and I didnt take a SINGLE picture!!! And...we were out of town and visited lots of friends and family and had some precious picture moments and I never took my camera out! CaN yOu BeLiEvE iT!??! I cant. I just tried to focus on all the fun we were having and not worry with the camera, although the thought "get your camera out!!" haunted me over and over. But, I overcame. No Pics, sorry. But, we had a wonderful time starting out our journey last Monday to Churchill (old neighborhood) and visiting Chelsae, Lyndsae, Mycah, Caleb, Isabel, Ian, Owen and Quentin!! The girls LOVED being back at their "old pool" and must have gone down the waterslide 100+ times! We swam for 4 straight hours! We headed over to see Dr. John for all of us to get a much needed adjustment, then to Kara's for our FINAL sleepover at their Youngsville House, sniff sniff (they're moving to Wilmington in 10 days). Hailee, Elisa, Hannah and Charlotte, aka Bff's, had a blast together, decorated cupcakes and sang happy birthday to them all (they all share a bday w/in 6 weeks of each other), stayed up until 10pm having a sleepover together, and played babies and barbies for hours! Then, we saw an old friend for doughnuts the next morning, met Caroline and Claire at Jumpin Beans in WF to get out lots of energy, and then headed down to my dad's house Tuesday afternoon. We enjoyed some beach time down at Minnesott Beach, a fun swim at a neighbor's pool, and then topped the trip off Thursday morning with the girls' first ever Ferry ride across the river (you have to get creative in Arapahoe NC)!! They thought it was so cool and it wasnt too hot at 8:45 to do that! It was a nice visit with grandaddy and the girls enjoyed multiple treats from a store they can walk to from his house! We then headed to VA (over 6 hour drive!) to be with my grandparents at the lake. Brian joined us Friday night and we had a great weekend together, and of course being w/ my grandparents, the girls' great-grandparents, at their lake house, was priceless. We were all tired by Sunday evening, but had a wonderful time and are trying to enjoy our last few weeks of freedom before school starts up!
