We bought a house and closed on it last Friday! It is a gorgeous, traditional, brick home in Starmount Forest! I dreamed of living in Starmount when I was growing up here in GSO and God's faithfulness has blessed me again with what we hope to be our forever home! It is a 1970's house that was upated some in the kitchen and bathrooms, but the rest of the house was in need of some serious "love" and PAINT!! We are going to pay someone to fix the bonus room and my scrapbook room, some ah-mazing cleaners who took an entire weekend plus 2 extra days to deep (I MEAN DEEP) clean, the carpets stretched and cleaned, ALL of the one million trims in the house will be painted by a crew of painters along w/ all of the shelves, cabinets, doors and hundreds of windows! Besides that, the rest is up to us!! We have been painting for a week now and spent the entire weekend painting and got almost all of the downstairs finished. It's quite a large house, so to have almost the middle floor painted with 2 coats in 3-4 days is so exciting! We will move to the upstairs next and get to all the fun colors for the girls' rooms, scrap room, bonus room, etc! The basement is the "mancave" that isnt getting any updated attention right now, but Brian is just beside himself to have such a room that he is perfectly content with it the way it is! We will do a blog post on before and after pics, but trust me when I tell you the inside is getting transformed and is going to look SO good when it's done! Our plan next spring is to paint the outside shutters black and have all the outside trim painted white to give the house a nice facelift! Yes, this will be our 3rd place of residence in ONE year, but hopefully our last! Thank you God for blessing us with such a wonderful, beautiful house! Move date: December 3, 2011!

Our NEW House!!
