Family Camp!!!!

 

Best.Weekend.Ever!!! 

We cant wait to go back next year already! It was cold and slightly rainy, but that didn't stop the wonderful time we had at Young Life's Windy Gap Family Camp! Brian and I have been involved with YL on some level since high school and it literally changed my life, so I'm so passionate about this ministry! We were so excited to take our girls up to WG for the weekend and let them experience a little bit of YL! The fun part was the Greensboro and Greenville areas went together this year so that meant our girls got to spend not only an awesome weekend at WG, but enjoy it with their cousins!!

 yes it was freezing, but these kids were so excited to get in the "hot pool!"

 So this big splash, in that freezing cold water, is my husband and a friend hitting the water from the Zipline they did-yeah, they thought this was a good idea, not sure why...but Hannah sure was proud of him!

Despite bedtimes after midnight 2x in a row, Hailee throwing up 2x on Saturday morning and scaring us that her tummy bug was coming back (btw, we prayed and I feel the Lord healed her and allowed us to stay b/c she was totally fine after the 2nd time and blossomed all weekend!), Hannah having a horrific cough and me being up with her for 4 hours Saturday night to hold her upright so she could breathe, and it being quite chilly, we had such a special time in the mountains together! The Lord met us right where we needed it the most and we are so thankful for YL! We haven't laughed so much all weekend in a long time!
