Copper!!

We added a new addition to the Wright household today! He is 9 weeks old, weighs about 13 pounds, has the sweetest face, and is a German Shepard/Lab mix that we got at the animal shelter! He and his 4 brothers were born at the shelter so we were able to know all his info, which was so nice! He was neutered today so he has to be kept low key for the next week and not interact with Lexi, but that little princess is already not happy about sharing her home with another 4 legged animal! We are all smitten with him and Hailee picked him out and he will not leave her side-even after 5 days of being apart while we had to leave him at the shelter and wait for his surgery date, he still loves her and she is head over hills in love! Knowing he was ours for  5 days and not being able to have him home was so hard, I had way to many "what if" dreams while we were apart! Cant wait to watch him grow...he's got some big ole' paws so we're curious to see his size! Welcome to the fam, buddy...

Copper is quite fond of his new mommy!

  1st Walk-he was NOT ok with the collar and leash at first but only after about 10 minutes did he start to get the hang of it! Hoping he will catch on that fast for lots of other things! ;)   snuggled beside me while I posted pics tonight   Tired Puppy-hoping he will sleep most of the night without too many whimpers!
