The God Card

So as Brian and I were putting the girls to bed last night, we are trying to wrap up storytime, bible verses, and prayers-all of which the girls were not interested in! Hailee was tryig to read (that also means make up her own story/words) her bible to us all and after letting her do so, (b/c right, what mom denies their child the chance to read the bible when she so desperatley wants to even though its like 30 min past bedtime with no nap that day?) I finally said, "Ok, storytime is over, it's time to say prayers and go to bed." Well, my sweet little 3 yr old replies with, "but mommy, if you dont read your bible everyday, your heart cant be joyful!" (giving me a big smile a the end of her response).

So there you have it, she pulled The God Card on me. Nice.
