Letter K

Not a whole lot to report on Letter K! We kind of took a little break this week from learning and doing crafts. We tried to go to Petco to see Kittens, but Hailee quickly reminded me that they were not Kittens, only Cats that were there! We read Kitty is Kind, Will you Take Care of Me? (a book about a mommy/baby Kangaroo), and two books about Kings. I tried to get Hailee to help me make shrimp/vegetable Kaboobs one night for dinner, but she wasnt interested so we didnt make them and just ate the shrimp/vegies on our plates. They did learn the bible verse "keep your tongue from evil" from Psalm 34:13. We talked about being Kind and like always, I had plenty of opportunities to remind the girls of that! Hailee had just made a kite at school about 3 weeks ago so we flew that around the house a few times! And, that's about all we did this week regarding letter K! Hopefully we'll all feel up to learning/crafting/cooking/playing more with letter L!
