4 years old
Happy 4th Birthday Hailee!!!!! I cant believe she's 4 years old and is going into her last year at preschool before heading off to kindergarten. This past year she's gotten taller by 3.5 inches, wider, heavier-probably by 6-7 pounds-the most she's grown ever!, longer hair (ok, not by much!), more creative, smarter, sweeter, more sensitive, more independent, and braver! She's accomplished things in one year that have made her mommy and daddy so increddibly proud to be her parents! She's learned bible verses and in this year accepted Jesus into her heart as her Savior so that probably makes this year the most important one of all! In one year, she's learned the Pledge of Allegiance, Pledge to the Christian flag, Pledge to the Bible, memorized more songs and makes up her own songs and sings all the time, fallen in LOVE with the Disney Princesses, made new friends, completed a whole year of ballet, tap and gymnastics, learned her alphabet, learned to write letters, worn dress up clothes every other day, had tea parties, had sleepovers, helped mommy bake, started taking big girl showers, learned to swim and go all the way under, rode a jet ski, had days where it felt like she cried all day, learned to pump her legs on the swing, painted her whole body with paint, still sucking her 2 fingers and inseperable from nightnee's-but that is coming to a stop now that she's 4, got a big girl bed, learned how to drive her Barbie jeep, learned how to skip, went to the hospital one time for the stomach bug, learned to count to 30, gone to the dentist, loved her little sister in such a special way, learned how to spell her name, come into the "technology" world and loves to text on my cell phone and listen to my ipod, say "fabulous" words like Fancy Nancy does, learned how to ride a big girl bike, and of course I could go on and on. We are so thankful to God for her precious life and her health. She has a heart of gold, loves Hannah and hates to be away from her, has a very sensitive spirit (like her mommy did as a child!), and loves being with her family, in fact, she's obsessed with her daddy. We had some moments of the "trying 3's" but Hailee is still a very well behaved child and an absolute delight in our world! We are so thankful for each day she's been a part of our world and contine praying she'll grow more into a little girl who loves Jesus with all of her heart. We're looking forward to watching her grow and blossom in this next year. Happy Birthday Precious Hailee Bird, we love you so much!!
