The girls got to pick baby pumpkins at the store today so we could paint them this afternoon! I thought I was doing a great thing by getting everything all set up and organized during their naptime, however while putting all the paint in the tray, some red paint splattered on my carpet...uggh!! It smeared of course as soon as I tried to get it up, and now I have the 1st noticable stain on my carpet in this house! But, they had a blast painting them and started out very methodical and artsy, however, it quickly turned to mixing all the colors so we ended up having a lesson on red and white make pink and blue and yellow make green!! They are so proud of their baby pumpkins and Hannah carries hers around, rocking it, and saying, "aww, baby punkin!"
