The girls and I enjoyed a family free night at Artquest last week at the Cultural Arts Center in downtown Greensboro! It is an art studio for children and it is amazing!! The girls could have stayed there for 5 hours, but it's just from 5-7 each Wednesday evening so I had to explain to them we could come back the following week, and the week after that if they wanted to b/c we just couldnt do all there was to do in 2 hours! They painted, and painted, and painted some more! They enjoyed sculpting for the 1st time a piece of clay and we left there with 2 snakes, 1 star, 2 hearts and 2 uniquely shaped pieces of "art" that Hailee made! We let them dry for 2 days and the girls got to paint them a few days later! They loved making bracelets on a real Loom and doing stamps, gluing, water colors, and cutting with all the awesome scraps they have! We didnt even get to the paper dolls, the puppet theatre, or the velcro wall! It was a real treat for them and I see many more Artquest visits in our future on Wednesday nights!
