Nutcracker

So, even though this December is as crazy as our last December (moving both times!) the girls had been asking a lot about going to the Nutcracker and Hailee kept reminding me that we told Hannah when she was 3 she could go! And because I havent felt like I've done much Christmas stuff with the girls due to the move (baking, crafts, cookie party, etc), I felt like this was a must! So, of course we wanted to go see Chelsae and Lyndsae dance in their own Nutcracker put on by Field of Dreams and have our annual GNO with Mycah and Ms. Amy! We made a plan, got the grandmother's invovled (who are friends and both live in G'ville), met in Raleigh for a quick dinner, and then Hailee, Hannah, me, my mom, Mycah, Amy, and her mom headed to NRCA to see the Ballet!

A few small details: I kept all of this a secret from my girls until we were leaving town on Friday afternoon, Amy bought our tix secretly and I told Chelsae we couldnt come this year, I had booked a hotel for us to stay in that girls were going to be ecstatic about (Hp's 1st time!), Mom-Mom was suprising them at dinner and staying w/ us for the night, and they got to see their sweet friend Mycah at the same time! Somehow, my car didnt explode on the way down, but the girls were SOO excited, so much that they were seriously over the top and had to have a stern "talking to" before we left for all of their special suprises! ;) But, the talk worked and the night was fantastic, Chelsae and Lyndsae were SOO suprised and I even saw a tear in C's eye when she saw the girls afterwards, we had a fun night with Mom-Mom, and a great time seeing our sweet friends!

Hailee and Mycah stole the intermission time (again this year!) by dancing in the isles with their baby's...acting like Clara with her Nutcracker doll, striking poses, admiring the stage, spinning and twirling!!
