Yardwork, an understatement...

We have been busy the past few weekends in our yard, and so for those of you who have requested pics, here ya go! Like the title says, "Yardwork" is an understatement for all that we've done! We raked out the entire backyard that was full of years worth of old pine straw, thousands and thousands of acorns, small oak trees that had started sprouting, dead tree stumps, bushes, poison ivy, plants, and sticks! We filled up 38 large trash bags full of it all! Then, this weekend we had a large dumptruck full of mulch delivered to our driveway (cant get to our backyard w/ a dumptruck) and we spread all 12 yards! A huge thanks to our family for helping with the girls and helping spread mulch while we did this! We also worked on trimming up our front yard by adding more mulch to the front flower beds and cleaned up the whole side yard that rounds a huge corner that is a nature area full of trees and bushes and plants, etc. You can actually see around our corner and down our yard now! But we are finished with all we want to do in the back for the summer, so now we can enjoy it!
