We headed to the lake to open it up for the summer over Spring Break! My
sister and her 3 kids met us up there after I got the house opened up
and running and then...the chaos began!! ;) 5 kids under the age of 7
was a wild time, but so fun for our kids nonetheless! Then, my cousin
and her 2 kids came up for a few days, so we were blessed by lots of
screams, squeals, arguments, tears, laughter and fun! We had a great
time, the weather was pretty chilly, but then of course we had that
crazy Thursday where the weather was freezing everywhere, and we got
SNOW at the lake!! I've never been there and seen snow before and it was
the massive, cotton candy pieces falling from the sky kind of snow. So,
in our pics we have kids with toes in the water (freezing, but it's
what kids do), to bundled up in pouring snow!
What I got to wake up to my 1st morning there! So beautiful, it gets me every time!

O, This girl...she has refused to wear jeans for about a year and 1/2 now (prob more so b/c her sissy doesnt wear them either, but she is a true princess and prefers skirts anyday over some jeans!) but decided she would finally put them on at the lake (you can see I haven't stopped offering them as an option!) and my sister and I made such a big deal about how cute she was with her jeans and cowgirl boots on (that she wears ALL the time) that I snapped these few pics of her in all her pride when she headed out the door to play!
