Hailee-isms....

These are some recent sayings from our little princess...

1. Hailee-Mommy, will you watch a show with me b/c you're my special girl in the whole world!?

2. Me-Hailee, are you being completely honest with me about not eating your special treat at snack time so you can have it now?
Hailee-yes, I'm honoring the truth...
Me-Ok, then you may have it now. You honor God when you are honest.
Hailee-yeah, I know, and I'm honest b/c I SOO dont want to go to the Lion's Den!

3. Earlier this week, I had yelled at Hailee when she disobeyed for the 3rd time and when I came downstairs to apologize to her for yelling, our convo went like this:
Me-Hailee, Mommy is sorry for yelling at you...before I could finish, she says...
Hailee-Mommy, you are not to yell at me again. It is not the right thing to do.
Me-Well, honey, sometimes Mommy's yell and make mistakes but you have to obey when Mommy is telling you not to take Hannah's babydolls away from her. God tells us to be kind and compassionate and taking things from Hannah is not kind.
Hailee-well Mommy, you are not honoring God when you yell at me so please dont do that again.

4. Me-Hailee, I love you so much. Dont get any bigger or grow up any more!
Hailee-Mommy (holding my head in her hands), you look straight at my heart and tell God I dont want to get any bigger b/c I want to live with you forever and ever!
