Since we're in the middle of packing up our house to move on Dec. 14, we dont have any Christmas decorations up. This has been so hard for me b/c I love this time of year of our Savior's Birth and getting the house all decorated and enjoying the lights makes me so happy! We are planning on putting up just our real tree when we move for the week before Christmas, but b/c I couldnt handle not having anything up in the house, we put this sweet little tree up in place of where our big one usually goes. The girls just love it and once I realized how sad they were about not having one up, and yet how amazed they were at seeing other trees, I knew this had to stay until Dec. 13! So here's to our little, special Christmas tree that has served its purpose for the few weeks we've been here in December!
Tomorrow we will make Christmas cookies before I have to pack up all my cookie sheets and baking goods! Fortunatley the girls will get to attend a Christmas cookie decorating party the weekend after we move to GSO since I usually do a cookie party here for all of their friends :(. We're trying to get in the Christmas season as best as possible, but man, it's hard when you're moving in the middle of December!!
