Sharing a room...

is not going as well as we were hoping! Over the weekend when the girls were in GSO while we were packing, we took Hannah's room apart and had to repaint the walls. So, Hannah's furniture is in the playroom and her new matress (that's shes been sleeping on for a week) is now on Hailee's floor in her room to ge them used to sharing a room that will happen in 7 days. Well, in the middle of tears and her nighties over her face, Hailee is saying "this is not working!" At 9:33pm by the way. Hannah talks too much and keeps Hailee awake. Hailee has to get up and go potty or blow her nose, yet Hannah's one rule is she cant get off of her new big girl bed so she calls for Hailee until she returns. Hannah keeps messing with the sound machine, Hailee keeps telling her to stop, of cours she doesnt listen, so Hailee comes to get me, causing Hannah to call for Hailee b/c she's left the room, etc, etc...you get the picture. Agghhh!!! I know our life is going to take some getting used to and the girls are doing exceptionally well right now living in one room and sharing a house with boxes in every corner and on every wall. But 2 nights in a row up until almost 10pm and then up by 7am is NOT working-especially with 2 girls who usually get 11-13 hours of sleep each night and who have fought multiple sicknesses this fall/winter and have required more sleep. I guess we're going to be cranking up the sound machine in the new apartment (out of reach for HP of course!) when they get their bunk beds and hopefully Hailee can fall peacefully asleep while Hannah talks and sings herself to sleep like normal. I just wanted one thing to be easy with this move, but who was I kidding?!
