She LOST a TOOTH!!!

Yes, my baby girl lost her 1st tooth last Monday, October 17th, 2011! She lost the bottom right one, which was her first tooth she ever got at 8 months old! It had been loose from the back for a long time, but the front took about a month to get really loose. It came down to her not wanting to eat or brush her teeth because it was painful and the tooth was just barely hanging on...so it was time to pull it! It was about a 20 minute process of which my stomach turned and mouth watered watching Brian go for it each time. She was SO brave and let him try to pull it out about 4 times...no tears, just all smiles waiting in anticipation! Well, he finally got it and as soon as she saw a speck of blood on the root of the tooth, she BURST into tears, I mean bucket tears, b/c of the blood. Really, I think it was the adrenalin and all the braveness she had put forth that finally came crashing down! She cried for a solid 10 minutes before realizing how exciting it was and that there was no blood anywhere! I cant believe my baby is growing up and the tooth fairy paid her a nice little visit for being so brave and loosing her 1st tooth!!
