Baby Walker

This past weekend, we finally made it to Greenville to meet our newest addition in the family, Robert Walker Aldridge! He was born on Sunday so it didnt make sense for us to go down and back in one day (now a 6 hour round trip drive), so my plan was to let the girls do school and then leave as soon as school was out on Thursday and spend a long weekend there. Well, of course things are not in my control and things dont always work the way I want, and the girls missed another WHOLE week of school (after missing a whole week due to snow the week before) due to Hailee's random on-again/off-again tummy bug. But, nonetheless, we escaped out of our house and away from the sickness on Friday morning! The girls were so smitten with their new cousin and were so motherly, loving on him, holding him, and of course, Hannah has since named all her baby dolls, Walker. Sarah Grace and Hailee had a sleepover with their American Girl dolls who each have their own set of pj's and they had so much fun together! Walker was named after both of his great grandfathers, one of which is my grandfather. My Aunt was in town from Maryland and we had a great time visitng with my family who we hadnt seen since Thanksgiving. It was well worth the wait when we walked through the door at my sister's house and got to see this....
