in January!! The girls had their 1st day at their new preschool this Tuesday! Hailee was a bit anxious and apprehensive a few days prior, but Tuesday morning, she was excited and ready to go. Hannah kept saying, "Hannah go to freeschool w/ Haydee!" They both went right into their classrooms and their teachers said they had a great first day! Hailee's room is like triple the size of her previous preschool room, so she just kept walking around checking it all out! Hannah of course made a bee line to the babies and took their clothes off and played with them all morning. They both want to stay for lunch, and Hailee is the only 4 year old who leaves at 12 instead of 1, but its quite pricey to pay for the extra hour for them both to stay and i dont want to get Hp at 12 and turn around wait until 1 to get Hs. And, selfishly, this is my last semester of having Hailee eat at home with me...forever. So as sad as she was, even on the 1st day, to not eat w/ her new friends, I think she'll stay 9-12 for now. We gave them a special treat and had daddy suprise them to pick them up w/ me at 12 and then we headed to lunch and met Mimi at Jason's Deli! They were thrilled to say the least! Hailee said, "mommy, if we can eat out with daddy and mimi everyday, i will not ask to eat at school with my friends anymore!" Sorry kid, thats not an option. But, i am pleased they are excited about being at First Baptist and thankful God allowed them both to have sucessful, happy, great 1st days! And, technically, this was Hannah's very 1st day of real preschool...it was a big day for mommy as well! (and on the same day, i realized i would no longer be registering hailee for preschool for next year...which is going on right now.) Wow, just about too much to handle in one morning!
