Best Friends

We had more special friends come visit us last week! Our best friends from Raleigh came up Thursday afternoon, spent the night, and stayed with us until lunchtime on Friday! The girls immediately started dressing up in their normal princess attire, cooking, playing with babies, and loving Hailee and Hannah's new room and bunk beds! We loved having them here and were really sad when they left :( We know we will have to be more intentional about seeing each other now that we are 2 hours apart, but the sad thing is, we'll have to be even more intentional and have well planned events together when this summer comes and they move to Wilmington, NC...4 hours apart :( But for now, we've already planned our next sleepover at their house for the end of January! And on the sleepover note, all 4 girls started out in one room, Hailee left after an hour b/c Charlotte and Hannah were too loud and she was too tired to deal with it (and ended up sleeping w/ mommy for the night (daddy stayed at his brother in law's house due to 6 girls in this little space!)), Elisa was uncomfortable in her brace and had some nightmares and woke up several times in the night screaming but was so excited to be on the top bunk, and the 2 year olds talked and talked and squealed until 9:30pm! But they all had a blast and mommy and Kara enjoyed ourselves over pizza and ice cream and girl talk! Thank you friends for coming!!!
